Poatina offers a unique experience for your next getaway; the village maintains much of the décor and charm reflecting its important part in Tasmania’s Hydro power history.
Poatina also offers the adventurer and nature lover many of scenic bush walks and mountain bike tracks, and is an ideal stopover for those tackling The Tasmanian Trail. Within the village there is a 9-hole golf course with stunning valley and mountain views, a variety of open space areas for picnics or outdoor activities and an abundance of nocturnal wildlife.
